Our most popular class, this is a 5 day course for beginner, intermediate or advanced coffee roasters. There's something for everyone in this interactive roasting workshop that takes place in our CLI classroom and in our sister company's roastery, Vermont Artisan Coffee & Tea, Co.
Learn about green coffees & their unique characteristics from a multitude of source regions. Learn hands on roasting techniques on several different roasters; a 1 kilo Sonfresco sample roaster; a 3 kilo Diedrich, 7 kilo Ghibli; a 15 kilo wood-fired Ghibli; a 15 kilo Giesen; & a 60 kilo Renegade drum roaster, among others. Interactive roasting & cupping exercises take place daily in a small classroom setting.

Duration: 9am - 5pm daily - With an hour lunch break - where you can take a break and explore some of our local eateries or bring a bag lunch and catch up on the day in our lounge.
