Intensive coffee courses and hands on workshops are held at our school’s state-of-the-art training and roasting facility in Waterbury, Vermont. We now offer micro-workshops open to everyone searching for the “perfect” cup.
SCAA Certified laboratory.
Coffee Lab International’s Vermont laboratory is the first of its kind to be certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) to conduct the SCAA Cupping Judge courses. In 2010 we’ve added a second SCAA Certified laboratory and educational facility in Montreal! We’re pleased to conduct the SCAA Cupping Judge Course and “Q” Grader exams in both locations.
Mané Alves, founder and president of Coffee Lab International and world renowned coffee expert presides over the courses with additional adjunct instructors whenever appropriate. Mané teaches regularly in the United States, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
