This is a 5 day course for beginner, intermediate or advanced coffee roasters. There’s something for everyone in this intensive roasting workshop.
Learn about green coffees and their unique characteristics from a multitude of source regions. Learn hands-on roasting techniques on several different roasters; from sample roasters like a 5 kilo Probat; 3 kilo Diedrich or a 1 kilo Sonfresco – to a 15 kilo Ghibli and a 60 kilo Renegade drum roaster. Interactive roasting and cupping exercises take place daily in a small class setting. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own coffees for roasting and analysis.
